The ELTA Music SOLAR 42 is the successor of the SOLAR 50 drone Synthesiser.
An analogue Microtonal Polyphonic Ambient Machine, it features 42 oscillators, a dual Polivoks-inspired filter, and a dual effector section featuring various effects such as delay, and reverb, along with the cartridge based system to allow you to use such custom DSP algorithms like those found on the cart by Nathan Fraser.

There is also a five-step sequencer, a touch-sensitive controller, and a joystick with dedicated CV outputs for the X and Y axis.
